A bond of $8.6 million has been posted for actor Rock Hudson’s estate, and an executor has been named for his will.
During a Los Angeles court proceeding Wallace Sheft, Hudson’s business manager, was approved as executor and trustee of Hudson’s estate.
Attorney Earl Bender insisted that the $8.6-million bond by no means reflects the value of Hudson’s estate, which is described in court papers only as “exceeding $10,000.” The actor, who died Oct. 2 of complications arising from AIDS, willed his entire estate to a trust he established in 1974.
