Orange : Adult Day-Care Center Is Seeking Applicants

An adult day-care center scheduled to open by Feb. 1 has begun seeking applicants for many of the programs it will offer. The facility is designed to provide a measure of independence for moderately handicapped or mentally impaired people 60 years and older.
The center, to be located on the grounds of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Heim Avenue, will provide services on a daily or weekly basis. Some of the programs are expected to include family-support groups, health services, group activities, information about nutritionally balanced meals and transportation.
The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Cost is $20 a day. For more information, call (714) 639-6016.
