Blaze Guts Home in South Laguna

Fire gutted a two-story home in South Laguna on Wednesday afternoon, causing an estimated $90,000 damage, the Orange County Fire Department reported.
Capt. Lou Furst said the blaze broke out about 1:35 p.m. at 31988 Virginia Way and was contained in about 15 minutes. No one was home at the time, and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
The Fire Department estimated damage at $70,000 to the structure and $20,000 to the contents.
