Johnny Carson’s 1981 DeLorean sports car and Zsa Zsa Gabor’s 1975 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow were two of the collectibles auctioned off in the 17th Newport Beach Collector Car Auction. Larry Wiggins, an oil tool company owner from Carpinteria, paid $18,250 for the stainless steel DeLorean, auction spokesman Joseph Molina said. Also auctioned was Gabor’s blue Silver Shadow, which brought $23,500 from Mr. and Mrs. Conrad S. Haythorne of Orange, Molina said.
