A Huntington Beach teen-ager was killed and another was injured when the motorbikes they were riding plunged into a 30-foot ravine in Baja California. Coast Guard Lt. Lee Foresman said Joseph Ziegler, 17, was pronounced dead at a hospital in Valle de San Quintin, and Billy Leffart, 15, was flown by the Coast Guard to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was in stable condition. The accident occurred about 4 p.m. about 35 miles from San Quintin, where the boys were on holiday with their parents, Foresman said. He said the boys were riding motorized three-wheel all-terrain vehicles when they crashed into the ravine.
