Small Hotels of Europe
We just recently returned from a month’s driving trip in Europe, so were thrilled to read Jerry Hulse’s articles on Paris and Rome. We laughed, however, at Hulse’s description of the rooms at the Internazionale Hotel in Rome as being “tastefully decorated,” and wonder if he ever gets above the lobby when he inspects hotels. Our room, though very adequate, could only be described as drab and dismal, and we peeked into three or four others. We did, however, love the location, and would recommend it for the price, since the Hassler almost next door was much more costly.
