Rep. Augustus F. Hawkins (D-Los Angeles) will conduct a community meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at South Gate Junior High School, 4100 Firestone Blvd.
The meeting, one in a series hosted by Hawkins, will focus on such issues as Social Security, tax reform, education, proposed cuts in the federal budget and job training.
