I think a better name for the television coverage of the Live Aid concerts last weekend could be, “The MTV-Veejay Show, With Highlights of the Live Aid concert,” or “a romp in self-indulgence.”
With a steady finger on the remote control, between MTV and KTLA I was able to accumulate enough footage on tape to be able to view the considerably less than 16-hour Live Aid concert.
