A 30-year-old woman whose body was found in her Pasadena apartment was strangled, an autopsy indicated. Pasadena homicide detectives identified the victim as Kim Chi Thi Nguyen, a student at California State University, Los Angeles. Her body was discovered by her roommate upon returning to the apartment in the 100 block of Catalina Avenue. Detectives said there was nothing immediately linking the murder to other recent slayings and attacks involving women in the San Gabriel Valley.
