CLEVELAND — Dennis Kucinich, who was voted out of office as mayor of Cleveland in 1979, said Tuesday that he plans to run for governor of Ohio.
Kucinich, 38, a Democrat, served a two-year term as mayor during which Cleveland defaulted on loan repayments of $15.5 million to local banks.
He returned to public life in 1983 when he was elected to the Cleveland City Council.
