A Los Angeles group called “New Tradition” won the championship in the 47th international barbershop quartet competition in Minneapolis. The competition, sponsored by the International Society for Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, was held at the Minneapolis Auditorium.
