PRIORITY CHECK

Please, check your priorities (“Actresses Over 40: Against All Odds,” by Barbara Isenberg, June 30).
Why would you choose to devote three full pages to representative “celebrity seeking” those middle-age actresses and only one rather half-hearted page to the quality oriented Oregon Shakespeare Festival (“Ashland at 50--The Town the Bard Built,” by Dan Sullivan, June 30)?
In the one page the Festival did get, Sullivan unbelievably failed to mention the 1983 Tony Award for best regional theater, or the fact that some of today’s finest actors such as Ben Kingsley and William Hurt have called the Festival home. (Get with it, Dan!)
