Tire Failures Caused Fire on Disney World Monorail

ORLANDO, Fla. — Authorities said Thursday that two tire failures caused a fire in the elevated monorail train at Walt Disney World on June 26. About 240 passengers were evacuated from the six-car train, and no major injuries were reported.
