Two bomb-laden cars exploded in a densely populated Shia Muslim suburb of Beirut, killing six people and wounding at least 40 others, police said. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blasts in Hay Madi, which followed three hours of clashes between Amal, the largest Shia militia, and the Party of God, a pro-Iranian Shia faction.
