The FAA revoked Capitol Airlines’ license.

The grounding of the Manhattan, Kan.-based commuter airline was the second in 11 months. The FAA said Capitol’s latest grounding was ordered because it maintained “inadequate pilot records regarding crew training and flight and duty time, questionable pilot records involving crew training and an apparent falsification of records relating to a flight check, and the use of inadequate weight information regarding baggage and passengers.” Capitol said it would apply for a new operating certificate but may not be back in the air for more than a month.
