Mesa College Defeats USD Junior Varsity

SAN DIEGO — Four pitchers combined on a four-hitter Thursday to lead San Diego Mesa College to an 8-3 victory over the University of San Diego junior varsity in a game played at Mesa.

Freshman Dean Wilkins, from Mira Mesa High School, allowed no hits, no runs and struck out six in the first three innings to pick up the win.
