Porsche 944s Recalled

DETROIT — Porsche Cars North America Inc. today recalled 5,916 model 944 cars from the 1984 and 1985 model years for a possible cruise control defect that could cause the accelerator to stick. Porsche said the problem has been found in “only a very few cases” and has not caused any reported accidents or injuries.
