Bolsa Grande Girls Top El Monte, 50-43

Forward Mitzi Huff had 14 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday to lead the Bolsa Grande High School girls basketball team to a 50-43 victory over El Monte in a 2-A wild-card game in the Matadors’ gym at Garden Grove.

Roseann Flores added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for Bolsa Grande, which will play at Temple City in a first-round game Saturday. El Monte finishes at 12-12.
