NUREMBERG, West Germany — Police raided the home and fitness center of Olympic weightlifting champion Karl-Heinz Radschinsky today and seized anabolic steroid drugs, judicial officials said.
A spokesman for the Nuremberg Public Prosecutor said legal proceedings were being taken against Radschinsky for drug law violations. Radschinsky, 31, won the middleweight title at last year’s Los Angeles Olympics. The spokesman said Radschinsky was suspected of peddling anabolic steroids in tablet and injection form.
