Wells Fargo & Co. increased its quarterly common stock dividend to 60 cents per share from 54 cents, payable April 19 to shareholders of record March 29 . . . S&P; Co., the firm owned by California brewer Paul Kalmanovitz, said it waived the requirement that a minimum number of shares be tendered under its offer to buy all of the outstanding shares of Pabst Brewing . . . Pacific Lumber, San Francisco, reported that it completed the previously announced sale for cash of its wholly owned subsidiary, City of Industry-based Stoody Co., to a company formed by Polaris Capital Group . . . Negotiations between Pan Am and its pilots union over wage and productivity concessions have broken off . . . Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, introduced a canned and bottled version of a longtime soda fountain favorite, cherry-flavored Coke, which it plans to test market in selected cities next month . . . The American Iron and Steel Institute reported that steel production for the week ended Feb. 16 totaled 1.67 million tons, up 3.4% from the previous week.
