7 Die, 2 Seriously Hurt as Home Burns in N.Y.

WYANDANCH, N.Y. — A fire that swept through a home where 14 persons were sleeping killed seven and seriously injured two others early Friday, authorities said.
All of the victims were children and grandchildren of the couple who own the home and ranged in age from 9 months to 20 years. The cause of the blaze was not immediately determined.
