Anti-Castro Leader Guilty in Arms Case

MIAMI — A federal jury Tuesday found Eduardo Arocena, alleged leader of the anti-Castro terrorist group Omega 7, guilty of possessing illegal weapons and conspiracy to manufacture and possess the firearms.
The jury also found co-defendant Milton Badia guilty of conspiracy.
In July, 1983, FBI agents said they confiscated several weapons, ammunition and timing mechanisms from Arocena’s apartment in Miami’s Little Havana section.
