Junior Leone Patterson hit a 15-footer with two seconds left in the game to give No. 1-ranked Chapman College women’s basketball team a 55-53 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday night in California Collegiate Athletic Assn. play at Carson.
The Panthers (7-0, 21-2) overcame a 31-28 halftime deficit to win their 16th straight conference game. That streak extends over two seasons.
Patterson led all scorers with 19 points. Missy Firpo and Susan Bergendahl both added 12.
