Real Estate Firms Merge

American Realty Services Group Inc. (ARSG) and Colliers International Property Consultants have merged and will operate under the latter name from headquarters at 10 Post Office Square, Boston.
ARSG represents 24 commercial real estate companies serving more than 40 metropolitan markets in the United States. Colliers currently consists of 33 commercial offices in nine countries in Europe, North America, Asia and the Pacific.
The Seeley Co. of Los Angeles, a member of ARSG, is now part of the Colliers group. The merger was explained as a reaction to the growing internationalization of the real estate industry and is said to have created the largest network of independent commercial real estate firms in the world.
