UCLA Defeats Stanford in Men’s Volleyball

UCLA’s second-ranked men’s volleyball team defeated sixth-ranked Stanford, 15-5, 15-9, 15-3, in a California Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. match at Pauley Pavilion Friday night.
UCLA sophomore Asbjorn Volstad of Norway had 12 spikes for the Bruins as they raised their record to 18-2 and 3-0 in the conference. It was UCLA’s 29th straight conference victory. Stanford is 11-3 and 2-2.
