The travel company, owned by Thomson Travel Inc. of Chicago, said that, in the last two months, it has eliminated administrative staffers from its wholesale travel package division. A dozen workers will continue to arrange tours that the company resells to travel agencies. A spokesman said the consolidation will not affect its 96 retail travel outlets, which operate out of May Co. department stores throughout the West.
