The exhibition will open in Detroit in February, 1986, and travel to museums in Philadelphia, Madrid, West Berlin and Mexico City over an 18-month period.
The exhibition, including murals, will show development of the artist’s work from his early years in Mexico and Spain as well as his work in Paris, creation of the Mexican mural movement and commissions executed in the United States.
