Monte Verde Summit, an Arciero & Sons development of 160 single-family homes, opens today in Diamond Bar with 29 homes in the first phase.

Priced from $151,000 to $192,500, the homes are being offered in one or two stories, each with three or four bedrooms, 2 or 2 1/2 baths, a family room and 1,642 to 2,279 square feet.

Among the features are tile roofs, underground utilities, ceramic tile or hardwood entries, wood-burning fireplaces and vaulted ceilings.

The homeowners association will maintain and irrigate the common-area open space and many slopes of the development. The monthly homeowners fee is $46.

The sales office, staffed by Macke Realty, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Pathfinder Road near Brea Canyon Cut-Off, reached from the Diamond Bar Boulevard exit of the Orange (57) Freeway or the Fairway exit of the Pomona (60) Freeway. First move-ins are scheduled for April 1.
