The Wilfred American Educational Corp., a New York-based business and beauty school, has leased about 20,000 square feet on the lower level and 4,000 square feet on the main floor of the historic Hollywood building that once housed the Broadway Department Store on the southwest corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
McDade & Shidler, owner/manager of the building now known as the Hollywood and Vine Plaza, and the New York law firm of Brodkin & Bernstein negotiated the lease, valued at more than $1 million. With this transaction, the building, which is undergoing major renovation, is now more than half leased.
