Higher Income People More Likely to Own Pets

Scarsdale, N.Y. — The higher the income, the more likely a person is to own a pet.
This comes from the Paper Shipping Sack Manufacturer’s Assn., whose members make the heavy sacks for the dry pet food sold in supermarkets.
The association says that cats are a popular pet choice because they require less attention than dogs.
