Reputed Mobster Named to ’10 Most Wanted’ List

WASHINGTON — Reputed mob leader Carmine John Persico Jr., sought on charges of extortion and of trying to bribe public officials with proceeds from drug trafficking and illegal gambling, has been named to the list of “10 Most Wanted Fugitives,” the FBI announced Thursday.
