Harvard-Westlake’s big men, 6-foot-5 Erik Swoope and 6-7 Damiene Cain, have been getting open inside in the first quarter against Los Angeles Loyola, and the Cubs had better make some adjustments.
The Miami-bound Swoope started things out with a dunk. He’s averaging 19.5 points and has been playing like the MVP of the Mission League.
Harvard-Westlake has a 15-6 lead with four minutes left in the first quarter. Austin Kelly has hit two baskets from long range.
