Baseball: Top outfielder from Alemany commits

Mark Strazzeri, an outfielder-catcher from Mission Hills Alemany who had a 23-game hitting streak last season, has committed to Cal State Northridge.

Strazzeri, a first-team all-Mission League selection, batted .423 with seven home runs and 26 runs batted in. He’ll be one of the top players in the San Fernando Valley this season.
