Boys’ basketball: Westchester takes early lead

Relying on second-, third- and even fourth-chance opportunities, Westchester has taken an 18-10 lead over Fairfax at the end of the first quarter.

Kareem Jamar has nine points for the Comets and hot-shooting Raymond Barry has six for the Lions, who are getting hammered on the boards and will have to start rebounding to stay in the game.
