Pablo Marquez, an 18-year-old Latino man, was shot and killed on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the 1800 block of Henderson Avenue in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call that someone had been hit by gunfire at 11:12 p.m. and found Marquez on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound, according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.
Marquez, a Long Beach resident, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:17 p.m., according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
