MONDAY
Plus-sized teens learn life lessons while shedding those extra pounds at a weight-loss camp in “Huge,” a new series starring “Hairspray’s” Nikki Blonsky, Hayley Hasselhoff – yup, her dad is “The Hoff” – and Gina Torres. (ABC Family, 9 p.m.)
TUESDAY
The withering wisecracks, the world-weary expression, the red, receding hairline… It must be stand-up comic Louis C.K., late of the HBO sitcom “Lucky Louie,” trying his luck once again in the new comedy series “Louie.” (FX,11 and 11:30 p.m.)
WEDNESDAY
In 1970, Billy Hayes was imprisoned in Turkey on drug smuggling charges, an ordeal dramatized in 1978’s “Midnight Express’’ and revisited in reenactments on the season premiere of “Locked Up Abroad.” (National Geographic, 7 and 10 p.m.)
THURSDAY
She had us at “Come Away With Me”: Grammy-winning jazz-and-roots chanteuse Norah Jones leads her band through a set of fan favorites and choice covers at Brooklyn’s St. Ann’s Warehouse on a new edition of “Soundstage.” (KCET, 8:30 p.m.)
FRIDAY
Kelly Clarkson – the original “American Idol,” and still the best – joins Dick Van Dyke, Renée Fleming, George Lopez, Lionel Richie and President and Mrs. Obama for “America Celebrates July 4th at Ford’s Theatre.” (ABC, 9 p.m.)
SATURDAY
How many celebs can boast of having their very own amusement park? Country music legend Dolly Parton can, and she’s joined by Kenny Rogers, Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus for “Dolly Celebrates 25 Years of Dollywood.” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.)
DISCONNECT
If we learned anything from “The Matrix,” it’s this: The human race will someday be enslaved by technology. Perhaps to forestall this dystopian future, today’s kids are encouraged to unplug on “Nick News Special Edition.” (Nickelodeon, 9 p.m. Sun.)
‘TREME’ IT’S NOT
As if Hurricane Katrina wasn’t enough, the long-running reality series “The Real World” returns to New Orleans for its 24th season, with a cast of young folks looking to make it big in the Big Easy. Laissez les bon temps rouler! (MTV, 10 p.m. Wed.)
UNFREE MASONRY
The Cold War got that much colder with the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961. Those dark days and the dismantling of that brick-and-barbed-wire barrier decades later are recalled in “The Wall — A World Divided.” (KCET, 10 p.m. Mon.)
